Etiologic forms of dry eye syndrome according to the new classification
In the article the new classification of dry eye syndrome is submitted.
Patients who were under supervision, were divided into 5 groups: with
systemic and organic dry eye syndrome (DES), with corneal DES, with blepharo-conjunctival
DES, with exogenous DES, with combined forms. Also forms were allocated
according to volume of lacrimation and character of course. For treatment
of the syndrome various preparations were used - Tears Natu-rale, Ophtagel,
Vidisc, depending on stability of tear film and subjective sensations
of patients.

Defection of function tear excretion and secretion of dry eye syndrome
after the course of beam therapy concerning new growths of palpebrae and
conjunctiva
In the article authors describe features of changes of lacrimal bodies
at patients after beam therapy concerning new growths of palpebrae and
conjunctiva and also the tactics of preventive and medical actions. 48
patients were examined and performed the research of tear excretion and
tear secretion apparatus. In 1 month after the beginning of the course
of beam therapy they were divided into 3 groups depending on the degree
of severity of developed dry eye syndrome and the total doze of irradiation.
Dry eye syndrome developed at 92,7 % of patients, it was revealed defection
of permeability of tear excretion ways at 7,3 %. It was used drops Floxal
0,3 % and gel Vidisic for treatment, which showed high efficiency and
can be recommended for preventive maintenance of beam complications.

Comparative pharmaco-economic analysis of modern preparations of artifical
tear and cornea's reparative regeneration at patients with dry eye syndrome
of senior age groups with accompanying diseases
It is planned to estimate the cost of treatment of dry eye syndrome at
eldery patients with accompanying diseases. The research is designed for
6 months with guantity of patients - 100-150. Pharmacoeconomic technigues
will be submitted by the analysis of cost of illness, cost-minimization
analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis. The separate section of work will
be devoted to studying of quality of life of patients with dry eye syndrome.
It's planned to prove pharmacoeconomic efficiency of new preparations
of artifical tear, to define the dependence between dry eye syndrome and
somatic pathology.

Clinical features of dry eye in photorefractive surgery
The author studied the prediction of occurrence, current and therapy of
dry eye syndrome after LASIK. 485 patients were examined and divided into
2 groups before operation: control and group of risk with defection of
tear secretion. Before and after operation tear substitutes (Lakrisin,
Tears Naturale, Lakrysifi) and viscostretchy preparation -0,18 % solution
of Natrii hyaluronati were applied as well as the method of temporary
occlusion of lacrimal canals. After LASIK critical terms of defection
of tear secretion are are 1 week - 1 month - an "early" dry
eye and over 3 months - "late" dry eye. Thus, optimum term for
tear substitute therapy is 1-3 months after LASIK.

Influence of precorneal tear film quality at dry eye syndrome on aberration
of its optical system
It's planned to investigate precorneal tear film quality at dry eye syndrome
on aberration of its optical system. Three groups of patients will be
examined: healthy people, patients with simulated defections of precorneal
tear film and patients who underwent excimerlaser ke-ratorefractive operations.
In result it's planned to develop a way of modeling of dry eye syndrome
on healthy eyes, to study optical characteristics of eyes at patients
after refractive operations.
